DENO LED Neon Flex is a silicone-encapsulated flexible LED strip mimicking traditional glass neon, designed for architectural facade, signage, landscape and creative interior lighting. The series covers injection-moulded one-piece bodies (no air gaps, IP68), 360° tubing, Mini Neon (6mm–8mm), Side-Bend, Top-Bend and 3D-bendable variants in CCT, RGB and RGBW — UV-stable silicone, -40°C to +60°C, 50,000h lifespan.

What is the difference between an LED neon strip and LED neon flex?
They are the same product family under two names: the lighting trade says LED neon strip, while sign makers and façade contractors say LED neon flex. Both describe an FPCB light engine encapsulated in a silicone or PVC body that emits an even line of light. DENO builds every body style — top bend, side bend, 360° round and mini — from one hot-melt injection-moulded silicone platform.

Is LED neon flex better than traditional glass neon?
For almost every commercial project, yes. Glass neon runs on kilovolt transformers, breaks in transit and cannot be cut on site. A 24V LED neon strip is low-voltage safe, draws roughly 70–80% less power for the same visual line, survives impact at IK08, and can be cut and re-terminated at marked intervals during installation.
How waterproof is an outdoor LED neon strip — IP67 or IP68?
IP67 covers rain, splash and temporary immersion and is the standard for façade, cove and signage work. IP68 adds continuous immersion, which is what pool coping, fountain edges and flooded channels need. DENO supplies both, with injection-moulded end caps and potted feed joints so the weak point of a waterproof neon flex — the termination — is sealed in the same process as the body.

Can LED neon flex be cut to length and connected on site?
Yes. Every DENO neon body carries printed cut marks — typically every 41.6 mm, 50 mm or 100 mm depending on LED pitch and voltage — with indexed solder pads underneath. Installers cut on the mark, solder or clip a feed, then close the run with a glue-filled end cap. Custom factory-cut lengths with pre-wired leads are also available for signage batches.

Which LED neon strip suits channel letters and signage?
Signage work wants the smallest cross-section that still hits the brightness target, so mini neon flex from 5×5 mm up to 8×16 mm dominates channel letters and logos. Top bend bodies follow the vertical strokes of a letter, side bend bodies follow the horizontal curves, and both are mounted in the same aluminium groove or clip so a fabricator only stocks one accessory set.

What accessories are needed to mount an LED neon strip?
Six mounting methods cover practically every installation: flat clip, flat aluminium groove, clip with cable outlet, aluminium groove with outlet reserve, moldable bend groove for free-form shapes, and direct surface adhesive. Add end caps, feed-out joints and, on façade work, stainless fixings. DENO ships the matching clip, channel and cap set with each neon flex order so the profile and the body always fit.
