What is a multi colour COB LED strip?
A multi colour COB LED strip puts two or more channels under the same continuous phosphor line, so the colour changes but the dots never appear. DENO builds CCT (dual white), RGB, RGBW and SPI addressable versions from 360 to 840 LEDs/m at 24V, all cut-to-length and all dot-free at 180°.

Should I choose CCT, RGB or RGBW COB LED strip?
Choose CCT when the space only needs white light that shifts from 2700K to 6500K, RGB when colour is decorative, and RGBW when one line must do both — saturated colour for events and a proper white for everyday use. RGBW costs more per metre but removes the second strip most projects otherwise install.

Does an addressable COB LED strip really show no hotspots?
Yes — pixels blend into a smooth gradient instead of a row of dots. On an SPI COB LED strip the IC drives a segment of the continuous phosphor line, so chasing and running-water effects read as moving light rather than individual points, which is exactly why stage, KTV and signage installers specify it.

What controller does a colour changing COB LED strip need?
Match the controller to the channel count: 2-channel for CCT, 3-channel for RGB, 4-channel for RGBW and an SPI/DMX controller for addressable builds. All DENO multi-colour COB tape runs on standard 24V PWM drivers, and DMX512 or DALI gateways are available for building-integrated control.
Can colour changing COB tape dim smoothly without flicker?
Yes, with a PWM driver above 3 kHz or a flicker-free constant-voltage supply. Because the phosphor line is continuous there is no stroboscopic dot pattern for a camera to catch, so DENO multi-colour COB tape is a common choice for studios and retail spaces filmed on phones.
