4.5mm Slim COB LED Strip — 12V, 528 LEDs/m Dot-Free
The 4.5mm slim COB LED strip from DENO LED is a compact, high-density lighting solution designed for applications requiring minimal visual intrusion. Featuring SCOB dot-free technology, these 24V strips offer high CRI (typically >90) for accurate color rendition. With a narrow profile, they are suitable for integration into tight spaces, architectural details, and display lighting. Available with custom OEM lengths, these strips are engineered for professional B2B installations where consistent light output and discreet fixture integration are paramount.

4.5mm Slim COB LED Strip — Buyer Questions
How narrow can a COB LED strip be?
DENO's slimmest single colour COB board is 4.5 mm wide with 528 LEDs/m at 12V and a 22.72 mm cutting unit. At that width it slides into 6 mm inner-width channels, hides in a shelf lip or a mirror frame, and still produces a fully dot-free line.

Is a 12V COB LED strip better than 24V for furniture lighting?
For runs under 3 m, yes — 12V keeps the driver small and works with existing furniture wiring and battery systems. Past 3 m the voltage drop on a 4.5 mm board becomes visible, so 24V is the safer choice for continuous cabinetry or a full mirror surround.

What is the shortest cut unit on a slim COB LED strip?
22.72 mm on the 4.5 mm 12V 528 LEDs/m board. That is short enough to trim a strip to a cabinet or a stair nosing without a visible dead end. Where a project needs cuts under 5 mm, the SOB micro-cut boards go down to 3.333 mm.

Where is a 4.5mm dot-free LED strip normally installed?
In mirrors and vanities, display cases, shelf edges, handrails and signage returns — anywhere the channel is too small for a standard board and the light source may be glimpsed. The narrow phosphor line reads as a drawn stroke of light rather than a row of LEDs.

How much power does a slim COB LED strip draw?
Typically 5–8W/m. The 4.5 mm copper cannot dissipate much more, so DENO caps the slim line there and recommends aluminium channel above 6W/m. Higher output in a narrow footprint means moving to an 8 mm board or an SOB build.
