8mm COB LED Strip — Slim 24V, 480–576 LEDs/m
The 8mm COB LED strip product family from DENO LED offers three single-color models designed for professional lighting applications. These strips operate at 24V, with power densities ranging from 5W/m to 10W/m. Key features include a high CRI of 90+, ensuring accurate color rendition, and a tight 1 SDCM binning for color consistency. With a cut unit of 50mm, these strips are suitable for various linear lighting installations, including under-cabinet, cove, and display lighting, where a uniform, dot-free illumination is required.

8mm COB LED Strip — Buyer Questions
When should you use an 8mm COB LED strip instead of 10mm?
Use the 8 mm board when the profile is narrow or the strip must hide inside joinery, and the load stays under about 10W/m. It carries 480 to 576 LEDs/m with the same dot-free 180° line as the 10 mm build, but with less copper it is more sensitive to long runs and high drive currents.

Is an 8mm dot-free LED strip bright enough for cove lighting?
Yes for most coves. At 8–10W/m an 8 mm COB tape puts out roughly 1200–1600 lm/m at 4000K, which lifts a 2.7–3 m ceiling comfortably. For double-height atriums or wall-wash throws over 4 m, step up to a 10 mm board or the SOB high-power line.

Can an 8mm COB LED strip be mounted in a shallow profile?
Yes, and that is its main advantage. Because the emitting surface is already continuous, an 8 mm COB tape needs no diffuser gap — 6–8 mm of depth behind a frosted lens is enough for an even line, where an SMD tape would need 15–20 mm to hide dots.

What voltage options exist on the 8mm COB board?
12V for short furniture and cabinet runs, 24V as the project standard, and 48V where a single feed has to cover 10 m or more. The 8 mm 24V builds are the volume sellers; 5V USB versions are available on request for display and consumer products.

Do you supply 8mm COB LED strip in 5m, 15m and 30m reels?
Yes. Standard 24V reels ship at 5 m, and roll-to-roll unibody production allows continuous 15 m and 30 m reels without a solder joint along the run. Long reels remove the dark gaps that reel-to-reel joints create in a continuous cove line.
