A DENO LED strip roll is built on electroplated roll-to-roll FPCB, so one reel is a single continuous circuit with no mid-reel solder joints. That is what makes these long LED strip lights practical: 24V DC, 2 oz copper, and continuous led strip lighting runs far beyond the usual 5 m reel — up to 20 m on a single feed depending on power density. The range spans 4.8 W/m to 19.2 W/m, 120 to 256 LEDs/m, Ra>90 with R9>50 and 1 SDCM binning, in 5 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm widths. Custom reel lengths, CCT, CRI and IP20-IP67 encapsulation are available for OEM/ODM projects such as cove lighting, architectural coves, display cases and long corridor runs.

The practical limit depends on power density and copper weight: at 4.8 W/m on 2 oz copper a 20 m single-end feed stays within a 3% voltage drop, while 19.2 W/m strips need a shorter run or a both-ends/mid-feed connection.

How do you connect two rolls of LED strip lights without a visible seam?

Solder the copper pads end to end and cover the joint with heat-shrink, or use a 2-pin snap connector when soldering is not possible. Because a DENO strip roll ships as one long reel, most projects never need a joint at all - order the exact run length and cut only at the marked cut points.

What is the difference between a roll-to-roll LED strip and a standard 5 m reel?

A standard reel is die-cut and pieced together, so the copper trace is interrupted where sections meet. Roll-to-roll uses an electroplated continuous FPCB: uniform copper thickness across the whole reel, lower resistance, no weak solder points, and consistent brightness from the first LED to the last.

Are long LED strip lights available in 12V as well as 24V?

Yes. 12V versions exist for short cabinet and automotive runs, but for long continuous led strip lighting we recommend 24V (or 48V for very long corridors) because voltage drop over distance is roughly four times lower at the same power per metre.
