Description

The #16797 is the high density member of the FlexLite RGBW family: 480x240mm, 24V DC, 288 5050 RGBW LEDs on a 19.91mm pitch, cut every 12 LEDs (120mm). The tight pitch is what makes it a dot-free RGBW LED sheet - the closer the LEDs, the shorter the diffuser distance needed before individual points blur into a single even field, so this model is the one to specify for shallow lightboxes, thin backlit cabinets and any panel where depth is limited. It is also the brightest and most saturated RGBW sheet in the range, holding colour uniformity across the whole 480x240mm area rather than showing banding between rows. Typical uses are premium backlit signage, hospitality feature walls, shallow display cases and architectural colour panels. RGBW adds a dedicated white die, so the same sheet covers both scene colour and usable white light. 2oz copper FPCB, dimmable, IP20 standard, up to 4 sheets per single-end feed and 8 with dual-end input.

RGBW LED Sheet — Buyer Questions

What is the difference between an RGBW and an RGBWW LED sheet?

RGBW adds one white die to the RGB mix; RGBWW (the 5-in-1 #6432) adds warm and cool white, so the white channel itself tunes from about 2700 K to 6500 K. The 5-in-1 also puts all five dies in a single chip, which removes the colour fringing you see from separate dies at short diffuser distances.

Which RGBW LED sheet density should I specify?

98 LEDs (#16795) for low-load, large-area work with 30–40 mm of diffuser depth; 162 LEDs (#16796) when you need two-axis cutting to shape the sheet around fixtures; 288 LEDs (#16797) on a 19.91 mm pitch when the cabinet is shallow and the surface is viewed close up.

Why choose RGBW over RGB for backlit signage?

Because most signs display white most of the time. An RGB mix always carries a colour cast and burns all three channels to make it; the dedicated white die gives a clean, colour-correct white at lower power, while the colour channels stay free for seasonal or promotional scenes.

Can an RGBW LED sheet be cut in two directions?

The #16796 can: its 53.3 × 80 mm grid allows cuts across and along the sheet, so it can be shaped around bar backs, curved fixtures and display niches instead of being masked off. The other RGBW sheets cut on a single axis at 34.3 mm or 120 mm intervals.
