Description

The #6710 wide angle LED sheet uses 6060 LEDs with integrated 170 degree lenses, delivering uniform lightbox backlighting with only 50 LEDs per 480x240mm sheet. The lens spreads each LED far wider than a bare emitter, so the light from neighbouring points overlaps close to the board and the panel reads as one even field instead of a grid of dots. Fewer LEDs also means lower cost per square metre and lower load, which is why this construction dominates fabric lightbox and SEG frame backlighting. It runs on 12V DC, which suits vehicle interiors, display cases and installations that already have a 12V supply, and it is cut on a 48x48mm grid so a sheet can be squared off to the frame size. IP20, flexible FPCB, dimmable with standard constant-voltage dimmers. Typical projects are SEG fabric lightboxes, slim advertising boxes, menu boards, poster frames and shallow display cabinets where the depth between the LED and the diffuser is only a few centimetres.

How does a lens LED sheet light a shallow lightbox evenly?

The integrated lens spreads each LED across 160–170°, so neighbouring beams overlap only a short distance above the board. Fifty lensed LEDs cover the same 480×240 mm as hundreds of bare emitters, which keeps an SEG fabric frame or slim poster box even from roughly 40–60 mm of depth at a much lower load.

Should I use a 12 V or 24 V lightbox LED sheet?

12 V (#6710) suits vehicle interiors, display cases and sites with an existing 12 V supply. 24 V (#6105) is the default for large signs: half the current means less voltage drop, more sheets per feed and thinner conductors across a wide cabinet.

How many LED sheets cover one square metre of lightbox?

Each sheet lights 480 × 240 mm, so roughly nine sheets tile one square metre. Cut on the 48 × 48 mm grid to square the last row to the frame, and plan feed points so no chain exceeds four sheets from one end.

Which colour temperature suits printed fabric graphics?

4000–6500 K keeps printed colour neutral; 1800–3000 K warms the whole image. The #6105 is selectable across 1800–6500 K, so the backlight can be matched to the print instead of shifting it, and 3 oz copper keeps brightness consistent from the first sheet to the last.

Three numbers decide whether an LED sheet works in your cabinet: the diffuser depth it needs before the dots disappear, the smallest piece you can cut without losing a channel, and the load it puts on the driver.
