Long Run COB LED Strip — 15m Single Feed 24V | DENO
The SOB Ultra Long LED Strip from DENO LED is designed for extended linear lighting applications, offering continuous illumination without visible light dots. Available in 24V, these strips feature high CRI (>90) for accurate color rendition and utilize advanced electroplated roll-to-roll FPCB for enhanced durability. Typical power densities and IP ratings vary by model. This product family is suitable for architectural integration, cove lighting, and commercial display installations where long, seamless light lines are required, minimizing the need for multiple power feeds and reducing installation complexity.

Long Run COB LED Strip (SOB) — Buyer Questions
How long can a long run COB LED strip go on one power feed?
The constant-current SOB long-run boards hold rated output for 15 m from a single end and 30 m when fed from both ends; the 36V and 48V versions go further again. Ordinary 24V constant-voltage COB tape is limited to about 5 m before the tail visibly dims.

Does a constant current LED strip really have no brightness drop head to tail?
Each short segment carries its own current regulator, so it draws the current it needs regardless of the volt drop reaching it. Measured head to tail on a 15 m single-feed run the difference is a few percent — invisible on a cove line, unlike the 20–30% fall on unregulated tape.

Can I order 20m or 30m LED strip runs with no voltage drop?
Yes. 20 m and 30 m continuous installations are built either as a both-ends feed on 24V or as a single feed on 36V/48V. DENO supplies the reel cut to the exact run length so a corridor or façade line has no mid-run joint at all.

Why is a single-end powered LED strip 24V preferred on site?
One feed means one driver location, one cable pull and one point of maintenance. On refurbishment work where the ceiling is already closed at the far end, a single-end powered 15 m run is often the only practical option — and it removes the second driver from the cost plan.
Is an ultra long dot-free LED strip suitable for cove and architectural projects?
That is exactly what it is built for. Long continuous coves, atrium perimeters and façade lines need both an unbroken luminous line and stable brightness end to end; a dot-free constant-current board delivers both, and roll-to-roll production means no solder joints to fail inside a sealed cove.
