36V LED Strip — 312 LEDs/m Constant Current COB | DENO
The SOB 36V LED strip product family offers two models designed for professional lighting applications requiring extended runs and consistent illumination. Operating at 36V DC, these strips feature high CRI (Ra>90) for accurate color rendering and utilize DENO LED's proprietary SOB dot-free technology. Available in custom lengths, they are suitable for architectural integration, retail displays, and cove lighting where voltage drop minimization and superior light quality are critical. DENO LED provides OEM/ODM solutions for specific project requirements.

36V LED Strip — Buyer Questions
Why choose a 36V LED strip over 24V?
At 36V the same wattage draws a third less current than at 24V, so copper losses fall and a single feed reaches much further. The 36V SOB boards run 312 LEDs/m at 4–20W/m and hold rated brightness over a 15 m single-feed run — the constant-current version — where 24V would need a second feed.

What is the difference between the CC and CV 36V versions?
The constant-current 15079 regulates each segment and holds output over a 15 m run. The constant-voltage 15098 is simpler and cheaper but limited to about 8 m before the tail dims. Choose CC for architectural runs and CV for short shop-fitting lengths on an existing 36V driver.

Does a high voltage LED strip need fewer power feeds on a project?
Yes, and that is usually where the money is saved. A 60 m façade line on 24V might need six feeds and six driver positions; on 36V constant current it needs two. Fewer feeds mean fewer drivers, less cable and fewer access panels in the ceiling.

Is a 36V dot-free LED strip safe for engineering and public projects?
36V DC remains within SELV limits, so it is treated as extra-low voltage in most jurisdictions and does not attract the installation requirements of mains-voltage tape. Combined with CE and RoHS documentation it is accepted on commercial and public projects.

Can the 36V board be cut and connected on site?
Yes, at the marked 38.46 mm (12 LED) unit. Because each unit is a complete segment, cutting never leaves a partially lit section; re-terminate with a soldered lead or a clamp connector rated for the 10 mm board.
