Frequently Asked Questions

What are the key flexibility features of this SOB LED Strip?

This SOB LED Strip offers high bending reliability and excellent flexibility, with a minimum bend diameter of Φ60mm, ideal for curved installations.

What voltage and power range does the 15098 model support?

The 15098 model operates on DC36V (Constant Voltage) and supports a power range of 4~18W per meter, ensuring versatile application.

Can this LED strip be customized for specific project needs?

Yes, customized options are available, including special CCTs, higher CRIs, and different power requirements to meet unique project specifications.

What types of B2B applications is this SOB LED Strip best suited for?

It is ideal for decorative projects, props display items, linear architectural lighting, and other commercial applications requiring stable and flexible illumination.

Is this SOB strip light also called FOB, S-COB or COB Pro strip light?

Yes. Model 15098 belongs to the DENO SOB (Spot on Board) family, which the market also calls FOB strip light, S-COB strip light or COB Pro strip light. All three names describe the same dot-free chip-on-board LED strip construction, so you can quote it under whichever term your project specification uses.

Why choose this S-COB strip light over a standard COB LED strip?

Compared with conventional COB LED strip, DENO SOB / FOB strip light supports higher power up to 24W/m instead of roughly 12W/m, CRI 95 and full-spectrum options, SDCM <=3 colour consistency, and single-end power feed at 5m, 10m and 15m without visible head-to-tail brightness loss, with higher luminous efficacy and lumen output.

36V LED Strip — Buyer Questions

Why choose a 36V LED strip over 24V?

At 36V the same wattage draws a third less current than at 24V, so copper losses fall and a single feed reaches much further. The 36V SOB boards run 312 LEDs/m at 4–20W/m and hold rated brightness over a 15 m single-feed run — the constant-current version — where 24V would need a second feed.

What is the difference between the CC and CV 36V versions?

The constant-current 15079 regulates each segment and holds output over a 15 m run. The constant-voltage 15098 is simpler and cheaper but limited to about 8 m before the tail dims. Choose CC for architectural runs and CV for short shop-fitting lengths on an existing 36V driver.

Does a high voltage LED strip need fewer power feeds on a project?

Yes, and that is usually where the money is saved. A 60 m façade line on 24V might need six feeds and six driver positions; on 36V constant current it needs two. Fewer feeds mean fewer drivers, less cable and fewer access panels in the ceiling.

Is a 36V dot-free LED strip safe for engineering and public projects?

36V DC remains within SELV limits, so it is treated as extra-low voltage in most jurisdictions and does not attract the installation requirements of mains-voltage tape. Combined with CE and RoHS documentation it is accepted on commercial and public projects.

SOB is the upgraded generation of the COB LED strip

Every SOB board on this page starts from the classic COB recipe — one continuous phosphor line, zero visible dots — and rebuilds it on flip-chip dies and thick copper. The result keeps the COB look but runs to 24W/m, holds CRI 95 and stays within SDCM ≤3 over the full reel. If your project is comfortable at 4–12W/m, the classic COB range remains the economical choice; if you need double the output or a 15 m single-feed run, you are already on the right page.
