DENO side emitting LED strips direct light from the edge of the PCB rather than from the top surface. This geometry supports edge-lit acrylic, signage, display details, curved outlines and narrow architectural channels where a top-emitting strip cannot aim light correctly. The range includes several voltages, LED formats, densities and board widths, so selection should account for viewing direction, bend orientation, cut interval and mounting depth. For a uniform luminous edge, prototype the strip with the actual acrylic or diffuser. OEM buyers can request custom lengths, wire exits, CCT and protection options.

What is the difference between side emitting and top emitting LED strips?

A side emitting strip sends light parallel to the PCB plane, while a conventional top emitting strip sends light away from the PCB face. The correct type depends on the required aiming direction and channel geometry.

Are side emitting LED strips suitable for acrylic edge lighting?

Yes. They are commonly used to inject light into an acrylic edge, but uniformity depends on LED pitch, acrylic engraving, thickness, mounting distance and edge preparation.
