Model: 3665

3665 rgb led strip — 24V, cuttable every 100mm, 12mm FPCB width, 5050 LEDs, 60 LEDs/m

Overview

5050 Ultra-long RGB LED Strip Light | 12mm | 24V | 60LEDs | 100mm/cut | #3665 is part of the DENO Ultra-Long SMD Strips series, engineered around ultra long run LED strip. Key specifications: 5050, 60, 24V, 12 PCB, 3oz copper FPCB, cuttable 6LEDs/100mm. Every reel is produced on DENO's roll-to-roll line with 99.9% pure copper FPCB and ships CE, UL and RoHS compliant for architectural, retail and hospitality projects. OEM and ODM configurations of length, colour temperature and waterproofing are available on request.

Description

5050 RGB long LED strip lights — 24V DC, 60 LEDs/m on a 12mm, 3 oz copper board, cuttable every 100mm, constant-current circuit. Buyer decision: colour strips suffer most from voltage drop — the far end shifts red. The CC circuit here holds colour true across 20 m (65.6 ft) on one feed and 40 m on two, so a whole facade or cove runs from one controller without colour banding. DMX/DALI compatible. Custom length and IP — request a factory quote.

Applications

  • Cove, wall-wash & perimeter lighting — Coves, recesses, wall-wash details and ceiling perimeters where a continuous, uniform line of light is required.
  • Showroom & hospitality display lighting — Shelving, display cases, reception desks and signage backlighting in shops, showrooms and hospitality spaces.
  • Kitchen & wardrobe under-cabinet lighting — Kitchen, wardrobe and furniture task lighting where the strip stays hidden and only the light is seen.
  • Long corridor & warehouse runs — 48V feeding lets one run cover long corridors, warehouse aisles and facade lines with fewer injection points and fewer power supplies.
  • Entertainment & media-facade colour scenes — Entertainment venues, media facades, gaming rooms and branded retail installs driven by DMX/SPI or standard RGB controllers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the key specifications of 3665?

3665: 5050, 60, 24V, 12 PCB, 3oz copper FPCB, cuttable 6LEDs/100mm. Full photometric data, wiring diagrams and test reports are available in the downloads section of this page.

How long can a single run of this ultra long run LED strip be?

Maximum single run for this model is 20m. Feeding from both ends or using a mid-point tap halves the effective distance per segment, so a ultra long run LED strip can cover twice that length on one circuit when wired accordingly.

Can DENO customise this ultra long run LED strip for a project?

Yes. DENO manufactures the Ultra-Long SMD Strips series as an OEM and ODM supplier: reel length, colour temperature, CRI grade, PCB width, waterproofing and private labelling can all be specified. Request a quote for lead time and project pricing.

What limits how long an LED strip run can be?

Voltage drop and conductor current, not the LED itself. A long run LED strip combines low watts per metre, 2 oz or thicker copper and a higher bus voltage such as 24V, 36V or 48V to reach 20 m or more from one feed while staying inside a 3 percent drop.

Should you choose RGB or RGBW LED strip lights?

RGB LED strip lights mix colour but produce a weak, tinted white. If the installation also needs usable white light for everyday use, choose RGBW or RGBCCT, which adds a dedicated white chip. Pure RGB is best where the strip is only ever a colour accent.

RGB LED Strip Lights — Buyer Questions

What is the difference between RGB and RGBW LED strip lights?

An RGB LED strip mixes red, green and blue dies to produce colour, and its 'white' is a mix that always carries a colour cast. RGBW LED strip lights add a dedicated white die — 2700K to 6500K, Ra 90+ — so the same run can deliver usable architectural white and saturated colour scenes without a second channel of tape.

Should I use a 12V or 24V RGB LED strip?

24V is the default for architectural work: at the same wattage it draws half the current of 12V, so a single feed covers 5–10 m without visible colour shift at the far end. 12V RGB LED strip is reserved for short cabinet, furniture and vehicle runs where the driver or controller is 12V-native.

How is an RGB LED strip controlled — DMX, DALI or a standard controller?

Common RGB tape is a 4-pin constant-voltage load, so it works with any PWM controller: standard RF/Wi-Fi controllers, 0–10V, DALI DT8 or DMX512 decoders. Choose a driver and decoder with at least 1 kHz PWM (16 kHz for camera-facing work) to keep the run flicker-free on video.

Long LED Strip Lights — Buyer Questions

How long can a long LED strip run be on a single power feed?

A standard 24V constant-voltage tape is limited to about 5 m before the far end visibly dims. DENO's long-run boards combine 2 oz to 3 oz copper, 24V or 48V input and per-segment constant-current ICs, which takes a single feed to 20 m, and up to 50 m on 48V builds, with no measurable fall-off between the first and last metre.

Can long LED light strips be cut to an exact length for a room or kitchen?

Yes. Cut units run from 12.5 mm to 100 mm depending on voltage and density, so a run can be trimmed to a drawing dimension on site, and DENO also pre-cuts and pre-wires to length at the factory for room, cove and kitchen installations. Ask for the cut unit in the quote — it decides how closely the finished line matches the millwork.
