Violet Excitation Full Spectrum LED Strip | DENO

DENO LED's violet excitation full spectrum LED strip portfolio offers advanced lighting solutions utilizing a violet light source to excite a multi-phosphor blend, producing a continuous spectral power distribution. These strips feature high CRI (typically Ra >95, R9 >90) and 1 SDCM binning for consistent color quality. Available in 24V, with varying wattages (e.g., 9.6W/m to 19.2W/m) and IP ratings, they are suitable for applications requiring precise color rendition and natural light simulation, such as art galleries, museums, and horticultural lighting.

Frequently asked questions

What are the primary advantages of a violet excitation full spectrum LED strip compared to traditional blue excitation white LEDs?

Violet excitation full spectrum LED strips utilize a violet LED chip to excite a broader range of phosphors, resulting in a more continuous and complete spectral power distribution. This approach minimizes the 'blue peak' often found in blue-excited LEDs, offering superior color rendition (higher CRI, R9) and a spectral output that more closely mimics natural sunlight, enhancing visual comfort and color accuracy.

What CRI and SDCM specifications can be expected from DENO LED's violet excitation full spectrum LED strips?

DENO LED's violet excitation full spectrum LED strips are engineered for high color fidelity, typically offering a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of Ra >95 and an R9 value >90. We implement 1 SDCM binning for all our full spectrum products, ensuring excellent color consistency across different batches and throughout the installation, meeting stringent specifier requirements.

Can these violet excitation full spectrum LED strips be customized for specific lengths or applications?

Yes, DENO LED offers OEM/ODM services for our violet excitation full spectrum LED strips. Customization options include specific lengths, varying LED pitch, power densities, and connector types to meet project-specific requirements. Our manufacturing capabilities, including electroplated roll-to-roll FPCB, allow for flexible design and production tailored to diverse applications.

What are the typical voltage and power consumption parameters for DENO LED's violet excitation full spectrum LED strips?

Our violet excitation full spectrum LED strips are primarily available in 24V DC configurations, providing stable performance over longer runs. Power consumption varies by model and LED density, typically ranging from 9.6W/m to 19.2W/m. Specific wattage and luminous efficacy data are provided in individual product datasheets to inform accurate power supply selection and system design.

Why use violet excitation instead of a blue chip in a full spectrum LED strip?

A violet pump chip at roughly 405 nm excites a broader phosphor blend, so the spectrum has no blue spike and no cyan dip. The curve tracks natural daylight more closely than a blue-pumped sunlike LED strip, giving smoother TM-30 Rf and Rg values and gentler light for long occupancy spaces.
