Key specifications: 2835, 90 LEDs/m, 36V, 12 mm PCB, 3oz copper FPCB, cuttable 9LEDs/100mm. Every reel is produced on DENO's roll-to-roll line with 99.9% pure copper FPCB and ships CE, UL and RoHS compliant for architectural, retail and hospitality projects. OEM and ODM configurations of length, colour temperature and waterproofing are available on request.
Description
2835 36V long LED strip — 36V DC, 90 LEDs/m on a 12mm, 3 oz copper board, cuttable every 100mm, constant-current circuit. Buyer decision: 36V architecture stretches continuous boards to 25 m (82 ft), cutting the number of drivers and feed points on long commercial runs — fewer access panels, faster install, easier maintenance. Custom CCT, IP and length — request a factory quote.
We use 99.99% gold wire, large-size chips, and thickened FPCB, backed by a 5-year warranty.

How long can a single run of this 36V LED strip lights be?
Maximum single run for this model is 25M. Feeding from both ends or using a mid-point tap halves the effective distance per segment, so a 36V LED strip lights can cover twice that length on one circuit when wired accordingly.

What limits how long an LED strip run can be?
Voltage drop and conductor current, not the LED itself. A long run LED strip combines low watts per metre, 2 oz or thicker copper and a higher bus voltage such as 24V, 36V or 48V to reach 20 m or more from one feed while staying inside a 3 percent drop.
When should you use a 36V LED strip instead of 24V?
Choose 36V when a single run exceeds what a 24V LED strip can feed within a 3 percent voltage drop. At the same power per metre a higher bus voltage means lower current and roughly half the drop of 24V over the same distance, so corridors, facades and cove runs can be fed from one end with fewer power injection points.
Does a constant current LED strip really eliminate voltage drop?
Voltage still drops along the copper, but the per-segment constant current IC holds LED current fixed until the local voltage falls below its dropout point. Brightness therefore stays even end to end, and power can be injected at one end, both ends or any mid point of the run.
Constant Current LED Strip — Buyer Questions
What is a constant current LED strip?
A constant current LED strip carries a linear CC driver IC on the board that holds a fixed current through each segment regardless of the input voltage seen at that point. Brightness therefore stays flat along the run, instead of falling off with voltage drop the way a plain constant-voltage strip does.
Constant current vs constant voltage LED strip — which is better?
Constant voltage is cheaper and fine for short runs under 3 m. Constant current is the right choice whenever the run is long, the copper is thin, the input voltage is unstable, or the installation is camera-facing — the IC absorbs supply variation and keeps every metre at the same luminous flux.
Can a constant current LED strip be powered from both ends or mid-feed?
Yes. Because regulation happens per segment, DENO's CC boards accept single-end, both-ends and any mid-strip tap. Both-ends and mid-feed wiring halve the effective feed distance, which is how a single driver covers a long corridor or perimeter cove.

Does a constant current LED strip dim without flicker?
It does when the driver is matched to it. Linear CC ICs dim smoothly on PWM down to about 1%, and at 16 kHz+ PWM the run is flicker-free on camera (low Pst LM and SVM). Analogue dimming of a CC board is not recommended below 20% because the IC needs headroom.

How long can a constant current LED strip run be?
Up to 20 m and beyond on 24V or 48V builds with 2 oz copper, versus 5 m for a comparable constant-voltage board. The practical limit becomes the copper's current-carrying capacity and thermal design rather than perceived brightness fall-off.

Can long LED light strips be cut to an exact length for a room or kitchen?
Yes. Cut units run from 12.5 mm to 100 mm depending on voltage and density, so a run can be trimmed to a drawing dimension on site, and DENO also pre-cuts and pre-wires to length at the factory for room, cove and kitchen installations. Ask for the cut unit in the quote — it decides how closely the finished line matches the millwork.

Can you get LED strip lights longer than 32 feet in one run?
Yes — 32 feet (10 m) is where consumer tape stops, not where the physics stops. Past that the board needs constant-current regulation and 2 oz to 3 oz copper, and DENO supplies it as one uncut length with factory-fitted lead wires rather than two reels joined by a solderless connector, which would put the whole downstream current through a spring contact.

Is 36V or 48V better for a long LED strip installation?
48V once a single run passes about 30 m, 36V between 20 m and 30 m or where a 48V driver is unavailable. Both stay inside SELV limits and both cut voltage drop sharply against 24V; the trade-off is the cut unit, which grows from roughly 50 mm at 24V to 100 mm at 36V and up to 166.6 mm at 48V.
