Which surface profile gives a dotless line with 240 LEDs/m tape?

The slim, wide-aperture bodies do it best: 19.1x8mm, 25x7mm, 17.5x7mm and 20x10mm all pair with 240 LEDs/m SMD tape whose pitch is short enough that the frosted cover reads as one continuous band. If the sightline is under a metre — a shelf edge or a handrail — step up to a COB or SOB strip instead of adding depth.

How is a surface mounted aluminum profile fixed in place?
