Can a full spectrum LED strip be tunable white, and which colour temperatures are available?

Fixed options run 1800K, 2200K, 2400K, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K and 6500K, all binned inside 3 SDCM and 1 SDCM on request. For adjustable schemes the dual-channel tunable white LED strip mixes two full-spectrum phosphor sets, so every point across 2700K-6500K is still Ra 95 with R9 above 90 — unlike RGB-derived tuning, which is only accurate at its calibration point and drifts either side of it.

Fixed CCT selection by application

1800K–2400K reads as candle and low-sun warmth and is used for hospitality, wine displays and evening residential layers; at these temperatures full spectrum matters because warm blue-pump phosphors typically collapse R9. 2700K–3000K is the residential and boutique-retail default. 3500K–4000K suits workplaces, kitchens and clinical rooms. 5000K–6500K is specified for colour inspection, photography and daylight-matched human-centric schemes.

Tunable white without losing fidelity

A dual-channel tunable full spectrum board carries two phosphor sets — typically 2700K and 6500K — on alternating positions, mixed by the driver. Because both channels are themselves full spectrum, every intermediate point on the travel is still Ra 95 with R9 above 90. RGB or RGBW-derived tuning cannot do that: fidelity is only correct at the calibration point and degrades either side of it.

Control is DALI DT8, 0–10V two-channel or PWM two-channel. Where several tunable runs share one space, specify 1-SDCM binning as well, since mismatched channels in adjacent coves are far more visible than a fixed-CCT mismatch.
