Overview

Model 18367 is a 24V multi power LED strip with six selectable output levels from 9.6W/m to 28.8W/m, set by the wiring configuration at installation. Built on a 10mm FPCB with 140 2835 LEDs/m at 7.1mm pitch, cut every 50mm, with 2 oz copper sized for the 28.8W/m step so every lower step stays well inside junction-temperature limits.

Description

6-in-1 Selectable Power via Wiring — six fixed levels from 9.6W/m to 28.8W/m on one 24V board, selected by the wiring configuration at installation. Covers ambient to high-output accent in one product — the same reel serves guestroom coves at the low steps and retail display or warehouse task lines at the top steps. No control gear required — power selection happens in the connection, so the strip keeps full-drive efficacy and flicker performance at every step and can still be dimmed downstream. 140 LEDs/m on a 10mm FPCB — 7.1mm LED pitch for a dot-free line in shallow profiles, with 2835 emitters on 99.99% gold wire. Cut every 50mm (7 LEDs) — accurate lengths without wasting reel, each cut unit carrying its own solder pads. Built for the highest step — the 2 oz copper FPCB and board area are dimensioned for 28.8W/m, so lower steps run well inside junction-temperature limits. Inventory reduction for distributors — six wattage options ship as one part number, backed by a 5-year warranty.

We use 99.99% gold wire, large-size chips, and thickened FPCB, backed by a 5-year warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many wattage levels does the 18367 have?

Six, spanning 9.6W/m to 28.8W/m at 24V DC — enough range to cover ambient cove lighting and high-output retail or warehouse task lighting from one part number.

Is a controller needed to change level?

No. Selection happens in the wiring, so no control gear sits in the circuit. The strip can still be dimmed downstream for scene control.

Does running at 28.8W/m shorten the life?

No. The board area and 2 oz copper are dimensioned for that step, and drive current stays inside the LED rating. The 5-year warranty applies at every level.

What are the board and cut specifications?

10mm wide FPCB, 140 LEDs/m of 2835 emitters, cut every 50mm (7 LEDs), IP20 to IP68 constructions available on request.

Selectable Power LED Strip — Buyer Questions

What is a selectable power LED strip?

A selectable power LED strip is one board that can be run at several fixed wattages per metre — DENO builds 3-in-1 versions at 7.2W, 10.2W and 21W/m and 6-in-1 versions from 9.6W up to 28.8W/m. The level is chosen at installation by which conductors are connected, so the same 24V SKU covers ambient cove light and bright accent light without changing product.

How do you change the wattage on an adjustable wattage LED strip?

By wiring, not by a dimmer. The FPCB carries parallel LED groups on separate conductors; connecting one, two or all of them at 24V sets the number of active groups and therefore the wattage per metre. No tools, no jumpers to cut and no controller are needed, and the choice is reversible if the project brief changes on site.

Does switching power levels shorten the life of the strip?

No. Each power level is a designed operating point, not an overdrive: drive current per die stays inside the LED's rated window at every step, and the 10 mm board with 2 oz copper is dimensioned for the highest level, so the lower levels simply run cooler. Lumen maintenance and the 5-year warranty apply to every selectable level.

Selectable power LED strip vs a dimmer — which should I specify?

A dimmer changes light output at runtime and costs efficacy, PWM depth and sometimes flicker performance; a selectable power LED strip sets the design brightness once, at full drive, with no control gear in the circuit. Most projects use both: pick the wattage level that matches the target lux, then dim from there for scene control.

Where is a multi power LED strip most useful?

Anywhere one specification must serve rooms with different targets: office ceilings and coves at the low level, hotel corridors and guestroom joinery in the middle, retail shelves, display cases and warehouse task lines at the top. Specifiers and distributors also stock a single reel instead of three, which cuts inventory and the risk of ordering the wrong wattage.

Can I order a custom field selectable LED strip?

Yes — the number of levels, the wattage of each level, LED density, CCT and CRI, PCB width, copper weight, cut unit, IP class and connector are all configurable. DENO is the manufacturer, so a 4-in-1 or 6-in-1 build with your own wattage ladder is tooled on the existing 24V stack-up rather than quoted as a new product line.
