2835 CCT Tunable LED Strip Light | 10mm | 24V | 240LEDs | 50mm/cut | #17985 is part of the DENO CCT SMD Strips series, engineered around tunable white LED strip. Key specifications: 2835, 240, DC 24V, 10mm PCB, 3oz copper FPCB, cuttable 12LEDs/50mm. Every reel is produced on DENO's roll-to-roll line with 99.9% pure copper FPCB and ships CE, UL and RoHS compliant for architectural, retail and hospitality projects. OEM and ODM configurations of length, colour temperature and waterproofing are available on request.

Description

This 2835 CCT tunable LED strip light features 240 LEDs per meter to deliver smooth, adjustable color temperatures for dynamic interior environments. Built on a 10mm PCB with 3oz copper foil, the constant current design ensures stable performance across runs up to 5 meters. A 50mm cutting interval with 12 LEDs and a 120-degree beam angle allows precise adaptation for modern architectural lighting applications. Operating on 24V DC with dimmable functionality, this strip is available for factory-direct wholesale project supply and OEM orders.

High-Power LED Strip: Heat Dissipation & Aluminum Channel Guide

At up to 28.8W/m, 17985 is a high-power SMD LED strip. Above roughly 14.4W/m the tape can no longer shed its own heat through the FPC alone — an aluminum channel is part of the luminaire, not an accessory.

Why high-wattage strips need a heat sink

  • Aluminum conducts heat roughly 30× faster than the plastics, MDF or gypsum a strip is usually stuck to, so a bare high-power run traps heat under the tape.
  • LED lifetime (LM-80 / TM-21) is driven by solder-point temperature Tc. Keeping Tc inside the datasheet limit — DENO strips are rated Tc ≤ 75°C — is what preserves the rated L70 lifetime and colour stability.
  • Never run 14.4W/m or more coiled on the reel, inside a sealed plastic diffuser, or directly on wood, wallpaper or foam.

Sizing rule: FPC width vs channel inner width

  • Channel inner width ≥ FPC width + 2mm. This strip is 10mm wide, so it needs at least 12mm of inner width.
  • The 2mm clearance absorbs extrusion tolerance and lets the tape be seated or replaced without scraping the side walls or the wiring.
  • A frosted or opal PC cover then diffuses the higher lumen output into an even, dot-free line instead of visible hot spots.

Aluminum channels that fit this strip

Recommended LED Channels

Mount this LED strip in a DENO LED aluminum profile for heat dissipation, physical protection and diffused, dot-free output.

This strip is 10mm wide, so it needs a channel with at least 12mm inner width (10mm + 2mm clearance). Every profile below meets that.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the key specifications of 17985?

17985: 2835, 240, DC 24V, 10mm PCB, 3oz copper FPCB, cuttable 12LEDs/50mm. Full photometric data, wiring diagrams and test reports are available in the downloads section of this page.

What colour temperatures and CRI options does this tunable white LED strip offer?

This model is supplied as a tunable white LED strip with high CRI options and the CCT range listed in the datasheet. DENO bins every batch for colour consistency, and custom CCT or spectrum combinations can be produced for project quantities.

Can DENO customise this tunable white LED strip for a project?

Yes. DENO manufactures the CCT SMD Strips series as an OEM and ODM supplier: reel length, colour temperature, CRI grade, PCB width, waterproofing and private labelling can all be specified. Request a quote for lead time and project pricing.

How does a tunable white LED strip mix colour temperature?

Two LED channels, typically 2700K and 6500K, sit on the same FPCB and are dimmed against each other. Mixing the channels sweeps the white point along the black body line while total output stays even, which is how a CCT LED strip supports circadian and human centric lighting schedules.

Which LED driver and run length suit #17985?

2835 CCT Tunable LED Strip Light | 10mm | 24V | 240LEDs | 50mm/cut | #17985 is a constant-voltage DC 24V product, so pair it with a CE or UL listed DC 24V constant-voltage LED driver rated about 20% above the connected load. Maximum single run is 5m. 5m Single / 10m Dual Input power. Feeding from both ends or mid-feeding halves the copper distance and roughly quarters the voltage drop.
