Overview
The DL-HS078 7x8mm hand sweep sensor lighting for furniture & cabinets is an integrated LED solution designed for seamless installation in confined spaces. Operating at 12V DC, this luminaire delivers 80-90lm/W with a CRI >90, ensuring accurate color rendering. Its compact 7x8mm profile and touchless activation are suitable for display cases, wardrobes, and under-cabinet applications, offering both functionality and aesthetic integration. The integrated sensor simplifies installation by eliminating external switch requirements.
Description
DL-HS078 | 7x8mm Hand Sweep Sensor Lighting For Furniture & Cabinets Equipped with a next-generation miniature IR sensor module, achieving instantaneous switch response via precise hand-wave gestures. This contactless operation completely eliminates physical touch, perfectly meeting strict hygiene and anti-fouling standards in humid or easily contaminated environments like kitchens and bathrooms. Engineered with a high-transmittance, UV-resistant frosted polymer PC diffuser for uniform secondary light refraction. It effectively eliminates the "pixelated" or "starry" appearance common in traditional LEDs, delivering a continuous, soft, and high-CRI linear light beam without glare. The ultra-compact physical footprint provides exceptional space tolerance. Supporting both micro-recessed embedding and surface mounting, it drastically reduces fabrication complexity and labor costs for custom millwork. The integrated sensor utilizes an ambient light filtering algorithm to effectively block false triggers caused by indoor stray light variations, complex electromagnetic fields, or ambient foot traffic, ensuring high sensitivity and absolute stability. This product is widely applied in high-end bespoke joinery (wardrobes/bookshelves), intelligent cabinetry (under-cabinets/vanities), luxury retail showcases, and hospitality accent lighting. Featuring an ultra-slim 7×8mm profile and touchless IR control, it delivers seamless "dotless linear aesthetics" without structural damage, providing a hygienic, glare-free, and cool-operating professional illumination solution.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the typical installation methods for the DL-HS078 in furniture and cabinets?
The DL-HS078 is designed for surface mounting or recessing into routed channels within furniture and cabinets. Its compact 7x8mm profile allows for discreet integration. Installation typically involves securing the profile with clips or adhesive, followed by connecting to a 12V DC power supply. The integrated hand sweep sensor requires clear access for activation.
What is the effective sensing range and activation method for the hand sweep sensor?
The integrated hand sweep sensor in the DL-HS078 typically activates with a single, swift pass of a hand within 2-5cm of the sensor window. A second sweep will deactivate the lighting. This touchless operation is ideal for maintaining hygiene and convenience in applications such as kitchen cabinets or display units.
Can the DL-HS078 be cut to specific lengths on-site?
The DL-HS078 is typically supplied in fixed lengths as a complete luminaire with an integrated sensor. On-site cutting is generally not recommended as it may damage the integrated sensor circuitry and void the warranty. Custom lengths should be specified during the OEM/ODM order process to ensure proper functionality and sealing.
What are the power supply requirements for the 7x8mm hand sweep sensor lighting for furniture & cabinets?
The DL-HS078 operates on a 12V DC constant voltage power supply. The required wattage of the power supply should be calculated based on the total length of the installed luminaires, ensuring a minimum 20% overhead for optimal performance and longevity. DENO LED can provide guidance on compatible power supplies.
